Various API drifts, hardness tester, ring and bevel gauges, depth gauges, pit gauges,
measurement tapes, OD and ID gauges plus external and internal pipe coating and rust
preventative coating equipment.
Our inspectors are trained and capable to operate the above inspection equipments, and are
knowledgeable of the English language and capable of understanding, comprehending and
implementing tasks required by API, ASTM, ASME, JIS, DIN, BI, AS, DS-1 and customer
specifications.
The inspection capabilities of our inspectors also include mill surveillance inspection as
per the above standards, in or not in conjunction with client specification on new or used
pipes, plates, valves, shapes, fittings or other petroleum industry related materials. All
our inspectors are capable of conducting pre-inspection meeting together with the
manufacturer and / or the client. This capability includes the preparation and the writing
of the pre-inspection meeting and final inspection reports.
Mill surveillance services & expediting support service includes, but is not limited
to:
Supervising / conducting chemical analysis
Supervising / conducting physical testing
Supervision of all specified NDE
Expediting support service
Equipment and NDE units calibration control
Welding control
Threading or end preparation control
Supervision of mill final inspection
Weighing and marking control
TuboJapan is also specialized to conduct packing supervision, loading supervision,
expediting service and coating inspection.
